Abstract:	The definition of linguistic conflictology is given. The range of problems of this scientific discipline is outlined. The key conflict-causing factors and the main tasks of their research are described. An example of a typical modern conflict language situation in the field of virtual discourse is offered, on the basis of the analysis of which a conclusion is made about the key features of speech conflict.
